With the first edition of the Thanks for Farming Tour successfully held throughout June and July; sweeping across 3 prairie provinces, visiting 9 farming communities we connected the Ag community with quality manufacturers and gave back to the future of Ag.
With the recent news that Agri-Trade Equipment Expo would have to cancel (Agri-Trade being one of our most successful trade shows) the decision was made to bring the tour to Red Deer and host an event after harvest to celebrate persistent farmers, ranchers and all their accomplishments in a difficult 2020.
Our vision is simple; to hold an intimate trade show that allows us to connect with the Ag community, say THANK YOU to resilient and adaptable growers, producers and breeders and give back to Ag in Canada. These educational and innovative events allow exhibitors to connect with Ag buyers, attendees can engage in the newest trends across the industry… and we can have a lot of fun while we’re there!
“The Central Alberta Region is one of the most productive farming communities in the prairies, and we have a way to connect with the farmers in this region in a safe, celebratory manner.”
Jeremy Matuszewski, President of Thunderstruck Ag Equipment & Co-Founder
The Thanks for Farming Tour take’s everything we know you love about a trade show and rolls it into a safe and controlled, 2 – day event that offers education, all the best in planting & harvest tech and innovation, and sets the stage for us to say THANK YOU to the Ag community.
Giving back has been a huge focus for the summer tour and the Red Deer stop will be no different. To keep this event farmer-focused, admission will be $20 a day and pre-registration is a require- ment with the proceeds going to two meaningful and worthy charities. The November 11th ticket sales donation will go to the 24 Red Deer Royal Canadian Air Cadets while November 12th ticket sales donation will go to the Smiles Thru Lindsey Foundation.
A maximum of 500 tickets per day will be sold to attendees to ensure safety of all participants so purchase your tickets now before they sell out!
