Who we are

Our vision is simple; to hold events that allows us to connect with the Ag community, say THANK YOU to resilient and adaptable growers, producers and breeders and give back to Ag in Canada. We want to offer educational and innovative events where exhibitors can connect with Ag buyers, attendees can engage in the newest trends across the industry and we can have a lot of fun while we’re there!

The vision of the Thanks For Farming Tour is simple; to hold events that allow us to connect with the Ag community, say THANK YOU to the resilient and adaptable growers, producers and breeders and give back to Ag in Canada. Last summer we visited 9 different communities across the prairies. We concluded our 2020 Tour with 77 exhibitors and 20 sponsors joining us for a sold out show in Red Deer, AB. The Thanks for Farming Tour allows us to provide good local food, great local drinks, and valuable sessions about mental health in Ag as well as a variety of topics ranging from farm finance to the very real seed and soil issues Canadian farmers face.

The Thanks for Farming tour proudly donates the net proceeds from ticket sales to local youth or mental health non-profit organizations focused on agriculture. Last year we were able to donate over $20,000 back to local organizations in the communities we visited.

Giving Back

We’ve had the chance to connect with some great local organizations and give back to all of the communities we visit; donating funds and giving a platform to clubs across Canada further their programming and continue to build the future of Ag in their communities. As the tour grows, we are always looking for ways to give back – locally as we host events, and throughout Canada.

Recipients of donations have included local 4-H Clubs, Cadet Programs & the Smiles Thru Lindsey Foundation.
