2023 marks the 4th year and 15th event for the tour that has travelled throughout the prairies since its inception in 2020.
The mission for the tour has stayed the same for each leg of the tour—connect the Ag community with quality manufacturers and proudly give back to the future of Ag.
The Thanks for Farming Tour will once again put it’s full focus on the agriculture industry and community. The event is centred around saying Thank You to resilient and adaptable growers, producers and farming communities by giving back to Ag in Canada. This two day event allows exhibitors to connect with Ag buyers and lets attendees engage in the newest trends across the industry while enjoy the day away from the farm.
The 2023 tour has chosen to strengthen its routes and focus on one event for this year in Winkler, Manitoba (Meridian Exhibition Centre) from July 26th-27th. Winkler was selected due to the strong agricultural surrounding communities and the support that was giving at last year’s event. Both exhibitors and attendees requested a return for this year.
“The Thanks for Farming Tour offers education, entertainment, and the opportunity to meet with and learn from innovative Ag businesses. But most importantly it allows us to provide a place to celebrate agriculture and thank the farming communities for what they do.”
Krissy Fiddler, one of the Thanks for Farming Tour organizers
Giving back was has always been a huge focus for the past tours and the 2023 Thanks for Farming Tour will be no different. To keep this event farmer-focused, admission will be a $10 minimum donation to our chosen local charity; Central Station. “Last year we were able to donate over $11,000 to Central Station and we are looking forward to donating even more this year” Fiddler states. Central Station provides support, connections and programs for the communities in which they serve.
Admission includes complimentary lunch and beverages along with educational, motivating and entertaining speakers daily, with a great line-up of exhibitors as well.
